Since 1946 the Sandia Gun Club has served the shooting sports community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Primarily a target competition club we sponsor Precision Pistol (Bullseye), Smallbore Rifle and Highpower Rifle league matches, weekly and monthly. We hold the New Mexico State Precision Pistol Championships each September at NRA’s Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. Please see our Competitions page for more information.
As stated in the constitution of our club our mission and purpose is:
The purpose of this club is to encourage shooting sports, to foster knowledge of the safe use and
proper care of firearms, to increase the degree of proficiency with firearms, and to provide a
continuing program for shooting.
