Dr. Richard Gwinnett Vivian, after whom our New Mexico State Pistol Matches are named, was an accomplished Bullseye shooter.
Here he is, pictured with a number of the medals that he won over the years. Dick was a prominent, contributing member of our club. We hold the State Precision Pistol Championships each year on the second weekend in September to honor him. Please join us at NRA’s Whittington Center on September 5-7, 2025 for CMP EIC Matches, an NRA Distinguished Revolver Match and a 2700 in his name. Dick left us in 2022. Obituary.
