SUMMARY:NRA Sanctioned High Power Rifle Match
DESCRIPTION:We hold an NRA high power rifle match on the second Sunday of each month throughout the year at Albuquerque’s Shooting Range Park. We gather at 8:00 am year around. At present we shoot all stages on the 100 yard range on reduced targets. \nWe shoot the NRA 80-round course in four stages at 100 yards\, “from position.” \nStage 1) Standing slow fire\, preceded by two sighters. 20 rounds (+2)  in 22 minutes. Single load. SR-1 target. \nStage 2) Sitting rapid fire\, preceded by two sighters\, 20 rounds in two strings\, each 70-second\, 10-round string with a reload. SR-1 target \nStage 3) Prone rapid fire\, preceded by two sighters\, 20 rounds in two strings\, each 60-second\, 10-round string with a reload. MR-21 target \nStage 4) Prone slow fire\, preceded by two sighters. 20 rounds (+2)  in 22 minutes. Single load. MR-31 target. \nMost competitors shoot modern service rifles\, but we welcome any rifle that can single load. If you arrive with an M1 Garand we will even have your special match calls. \nAfterward we often gather at “The Bombing Range Restaurant” at the Double Eagle Airport next door to the Shooting Range for some good eats and socializing. DESCRIPTION:We hold an NRA outdoor 1800 match on the first Saturday of each month throughout the year at Albuquerque’s Shooting Range Park. We normally meet at 8:30am at our shed near the office. First shots are at 9:00am. \nOur outdoor course of fire is the standard NRA 900. We usually shoot at 25 yards\, but when the time gets close to the State Matches we’ll move slow fire to 50 yards for those who want the practice. \nStage 1) Slow fire. 20 rounds in 20 minutes. \nStage 2) The National Match Course. \nSlow fire. 10 rounds in 10 minutes \nTimed fire\, Two strings of five rounds\, each in 20 seconds \nRapid fire\, Two strings of five rounds\, each in 10 seconds. \nStage 3) Timed fire\, Four strings of five rounds\, each in 20 seconds \nStage 4) Rapid fire\, Four strings of five rounds\, each in 10 seconds \n  \nWe usually gather afterward at Double Eagle Airport’s “Bombing Range” restaurant for good food and conversation.

DESCRIPTION:Sandia Gun Club\n2024 Metric Smallbore Prone Rifle League\nConducted at\nAlbuquerque Shooting Range Park (ASRP) \n \nSafety – Everyone must comply with all Park rules and with instructions of the ASRP Manager and staff. Firearms may not be brought to the firing line until the match director has called the line hot. All firearms\, cased or not\, must be carried straight up between the line and your vehicle. \nDates – February 3\, April 6\, May 4\, June 1\, Sept 7\, Oct. 2\,5\, Nov 2\, Dec. 7\, 2024 \nLocation – Albuquerque Shooting Range Park\, (505-836-8785) Take exit 149 from I-40\, go north about 4 miles to turnoff to ASRP\, follow pavement west until you reach the range. \nTime – Registration begins at 0900. Firing starts at ~0930. \nRegistration Procedure – First\, pick up a target frame. Come to the 100 yard range immediately east of the range house for the match. Please sign in on the match/league signup sheets. The match director will collect fees. Firing will begin when all competitors are signed in and ready to fire. If you have your own portable frames please bring them! \nFee – Match fee (includes Alb Shooting Park fee) is $8 for Sandia members\, $10 for non-Sandia members\, and free to juniors and collegiates. There is no league fee. \nInsurance – SGC members are covered by the Club’s insurance. Non-members pay an additional two dollar ($2.00) per match fee to register as a SGC “match member.” \nRules – Current NRA Conventional Smallbore Prone rifle rules will apply (league is not NRA approved). Additionally\, an F-Class or Unlimited Rifle category has been created\, though scores fired by shooters in this unsanctioned category will not be turned in to the NRA\, and they will not compete directly with shooters using complying equipment. Any safe .22 caliber rimfire rifle may enter the F-Class category. Telescopic sights may be used for all stages\, and rests and sandbags will be allowed. Please contact the match director if you have questions. \nCourse of fire – Match will be conducted at 50 and 100 yards. Match is one-hundred twenty (120) shots for record. SUMMARY:NRA Sanctioned High Power Rifle Match
DESCRIPTION:We hold an NRA high power rifle match on the second Sunday of each month throughout the year at Albuquerque’s Shooting Range Park. We gather at 8:00 am year around. At present we shoot all stages on the 100 yard range on reduced targets. \nWe shoot the NRA 80-round course in four stages at 100 yards\, “from position.” \nStage 1) Standing slow fire\, preceded by two sighters. 20 rounds (+2)  in 22 minutes. Single load. SR-1 target. \nStage 2) Sitting rapid fire\, preceded by two sighters\, 20 rounds in two strings\, each 70-second\, 10-round string with a reload. SR-1 target \nStage 3) Prone rapid fire\, preceded by two sighters\, 20 rounds in two strings\, each 60-second\, 10-round string with a reload. MR-21 target \nStage 4) Prone slow fire\, preceded by two sighters. 20 rounds (+2)  in 22 minutes. Single load. MR-31 target. \nMost competitors shoot modern service rifles\, but we welcome any rifle that can single load. If you arrive with an M1 Garand we will even have your special match calls. \nAfterward we often gather at “The Bombing Range Restaurant” at the Double Eagle Airport next door to the Shooting Range for some good eats and socializing. SUMMARY:NRA Sanctioned Monthly Outdoor Pistol League
DESCRIPTION:We hold an NRA outdoor 1800 match on the first Saturday of each month throughout the year at Albuquerque’s Shooting Range Park. We normally meet at 8:30am at our shed near the office. First shots are at 9:00am. \nOur outdoor course of fire is the standard NRA 900. We usually shoot at 25 yards\, but when the time gets close to the State Matches we’ll move slow fire to 50 yards for those who want the practice. \nStage 1) Slow fire. 20 rounds in 20 minutes. \nStage 2) The National Match Course. \nSlow fire. 10 rounds in 10 minutes \nTimed fire\, Two strings of five rounds\, each in 20 seconds \nRapid fire\, Two strings of five rounds\, each in 10 seconds. \nStage 3) Timed fire\, Four strings of five rounds\, each in 20 seconds \nStage 4) Rapid fire\, Four strings of five rounds\, each in 10 seconds \n  \nWe usually gather afterward at Double Eagle Airport’s “Bombing Range” restaurant for good food and conversation.

DESCRIPTION:Sandia Gun Club\n2024 Metric Smallbore Prone Rifle League\nConducted at\nAlbuquerque Shooting Range Park (ASRP) \n \nSafety – Everyone must comply with all Park rules and with instructions of the ASRP Manager and staff. Firearms may not be brought to the firing line until the match director has called the line hot. All firearms\, cased or not\, must be carried straight up between the line and your vehicle. \nDates – February 3\, April 6\, May 4\, June 1\, Sept 7\, Oct. 5\, Nov 2\, Dec. 7\, 2024 \nLocation – Albuquerque Shooting Range Park\, (505-836-8785) Take exit 149 from I-40\, go north about 4 miles to turnoff to ASRP\, follow pavement west until you reach the range. \nTime – Registration begins at 0900. Firing starts at ~0930. \nRegistration Procedure – First\, pick up a target frame. Come to the 100 yard range immediately east of the range house for the match. Please sign in on the match/league signup sheets. The match director will collect fees. Firing will begin when all competitors are signed in and ready to fire. If you have your own portable frames please bring them! \nFee – Match fee (includes Alb Shooting Park fee) is $8 for Sandia members\, $10 for non-Sandia members\, and free to juniors and collegiates. There is no league fee. \nInsurance – SGC members are covered by the Club’s insurance. Non-members pay an additional two dollar ($2.00) per match fee to register as a SGC “match member.” \nRules – Current NRA Conventional Smallbore Prone rifle rules will apply (league is not NRA approved). Additionally\, an F-Class or Unlimited Rifle category has been created\, though scores fired by shooters in this unsanctioned category will not be turned in to the NRA\, and they will not compete directly with shooters using complying equipment. Any safe .22 caliber rimfire rifle may enter the F-Class category. Telescopic sights may be used for all stages\, and rests and sandbags will be allowed. Please contact the match director if you have questions. \nCourse of fire – Match will be conducted at 50 and 100 yards. Match is one-hundred twenty (120) shots for record. Time is 20 minutes per target card (20 shots)\, including unlimited sighters during that period.\nStage 1 – 40 record shots\, 50yds\, iron sights (50 meters reduced\, target A51)\nStage 2 – 40 record shots\, 100yds\, iron sights (100 meters\, target A-33)\nStage 3 – 20 record shots\, 100yds\, any sights + 20 record shots\, 50yds\, any sights (Dewar) (50 meters reduced\, target A51\, 100 meters\, target A-33) \nAwards – No awards will be given. \nTargets and Frames – The league will provide a target frame and targets (A-51 and A-33). DESCRIPTION:The New Mexico State Pistol Championship is an NRA Sanctioned “2700.” We will shoot one “900” each of 22lr\, centerfire and 45. We can accommodate 40 shooters on the line and each shooter can spread the three 900s over the two days. Please arrive about 7:00am. The first relay will start shooting at 8:00am. \nNRA’s Whittington center is one of the most beautiful and extensive shooting parks in the country. It is at the eastern base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains\, so is subject to wind\, rain and heat. Come prepared\, but you won’t regret it.
